由我校承办的第十七届国际万维网会议将于本月23日在北京国际会议中心拉开序幕。有“万维网之父”之称的HTML语言发明人提姆·博纳斯·李首次来到中国，并将在人民大会堂上做主题发言。Google中国区总裁李开复博士(Dr. Kaifu Lee)、微软全球副总裁沈向阳(Dr. Harry Shum)、美国电报电话公司AT&T首席科学家大卫·白兰洁等知名学者分别会在大会上做主题报告。大会邀请了包括中央电视台、北京电视台、《人民日报》、《光明日报》、《中国青年报》、《中国教育报》、《科学时报》、《科技日报》等40多家媒体前来采访报导。
